"Telama" meaning "my hand to God". She was born in a small
country of West Africa, Togo. She grew up in a family where
music was a way of life. Her grand-father, father and mother
all played music.
She has a varied repertoire of songs, covering Jazz, Funk,
Soul Pop, etc ........ She sings with ease in several
languages, including Chinese, French, Spanish and her own
native African language.
She played with various bands in well-known hotels and
facilities such as IBIS, MERCURE Sarakawa, Novela Star,
Madingue Jazz Club, Abeille d'Or restaurant, etc...In the last two years, Telama has been playing at
Makumba club, a renowned African bar in Hong Kong, with EZO
Band from Togo.
Seynah K. AVLESSI has picked his pair of sticks at the age
of sixteen.
He started working professionally at the age of twenty with
Thierry N’kely Faha, a local Afro jazz singer.
In 2009, Seynah moved to Hong Kong with ‘’NUBUEKE’’ a
band from TOGO and became the leader of ‘’EZO band’’, the
resident band of Makumba the Africa lounge in 2010. In
2012, Seynah formed iGU (International Groove Unit), a funk
fusion band in Beijing and have their first album recorded.
Seynah has really focused on funk, Jazz music and Latin as
speciality.

Mr Philip Leung,
founder and CEO of STS. Over 30 years of working experience in
professional training and education, specialized in information
technology in education.
Mr Leung was the principal of both secondary and primary
schools for 12 years. During 1994-97, he was the officer-in-charge of the computer training
centre in
British Force (Hong Kong). In 2000-03, Mr Leung
was appointed as the course director of ITEd training
project for 40,000 teachers
in Hong Kong by Education Department, HK. and
he was also an visiting lecturer of The Open University
of Hong Kong in IT in Education for in-service teachers.
During the last
decade,
Mr
Leung
actively involved in African drumming. He has developed
an unique experiential learning program by using African
rhythms, the sound from nature.
Mr Leung has facilitated over three hundreds
DEEP drumming workshops for Global Enterprises and
Governmental departments in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland
China, Malaysia and Singapore. Mr Leung also is the key
person in popularizing African drumming in Asia.
